In 2010, I visited Tegucigalpa, Honduras to work in a primary school alongside local teachers and aids.
The bulk of my contribution came in the form of English language instruction, primary mathematics and childcare.
In addition to interacting with children at the combined school and church, we also went on home visits and spoke with parents whose children were in school by scholarship.
Unfortunately or fortunately, my first-international-experience words were penned into a patterned journal and were before the time of my blogging craze.
